Dear GNA-G Community member, The GNA-G Nominations Committee (NomCom) is pleased to announce 15 nominees for the GNA-G Leadership Team (LT). The NomCom would like to solicit feedback and guidance from GNA-G community in order to prepare the selection of LT members.
The nominees On March 1st the NomCom opened the call for Nominations. We are very happy with the response to that call. We are pleased to announce the nominated individuals:

Carder (ESnet, USA) * Ivana Golub (PSNC, Croatia/Poland) * Renier Van Heerden (SANREN, South Africa) * Richard Klinger (CANARIE, Canada) * Andrew Lake (ESnet, USA) * Brenna Meade (Indiana University, USA) * Harvey Newman (CalTech, USA) * Yeshaswini Ramesh (REANNZ, New Zealand) * Jennifer Schopf (TACC, University of Texas, USA) * Marcos Schwarz (RNP, Brazil) * Helga Spitaler (GÉANT, United Kingdom) * Karin Wessel (SURF, The Netherlands) * David Wilde (AARnet, Australia) * Chris Wilkinson (Internet2, USA)
The current Leadership Team consists of six seats for five co-chairs: Buseung Cho (KISTI), Harvey Newman (Caltech), David Wilde (AARnet), Ivana Golub (PSNC), and Alex Moura (KAUST) with one vacant seat left by Marco Teixeira (RedClara) last year. Alex is still in his 1st term and will continue in this role. Harvey, Ivana, and David have indicated they are willing to serve the LT for a second term. They will follow the NomCom process alongside any other nominees. The GNA-G Terms of Reference (ToR) have been changed recently allowing an LT of up to nine members. For that reason, we are now filling eight vacancies. These vacancies that will be filled with the candidates above, selected by the NomCom. The attached document presents each of the nominees, including their motivation, their nominators and seconders.
Request for feedback To assist the NomCom in selecting the candidate with the best fit for the LT, the NomCom seeks community feedback, guidance, and advice. If you prefer one of the nominees, have a view on the best composition of the LT, or have other advice for the NomCom, please let us know. All feedback will be treated confidentially and will only be used by the NomCom for deciding how to fill the open LT position.
