Fiber offers for EISCAT_3D

Hello, One thing we forgot to discuss last week was if we should ask for IRU or "traditional" lease for the E3D fibers. I guess that since EISCAT wanted no one-time-fees it is going to be traditional lease. What do you think? --BJ

Radio link to EISCAT3D for out-of-band

All, I did a quick look on the possibilities of having a radio link as OOB etc the last miles. From Karesvanto "city" to the site, it looks like on the attached picture (done with 25 meter antenna poles). I.e. it is in practice impossible. Kaiseniemi is even worse, just a small 150 meter high mountain in the way :-) So this is not a practical solution. --BJ
