Yes, the low-cost weather sensors are also developed from within my
organization. All of them:
a. send back their data to the research network;
b. data are housed within the same cloud service, within the research network;
c. send the data to university people, thru a network link between our
NREN and their university
d. use the research network to publish the weather visualization to
the whole world
so yup, they are tightly intergrated

cost sensors might also be newsworthy if there is an associated NREN
facilitated use case.
