Greetings GREN Map Working Group,

We are looking to schedule our next meeting in the next couple of weeks.  Ahead of that, I am soliciting feedback on two things, one quick, and one as easy homework ahead of the next meeting.

Setting Next Working Group Meeting

Please respond to these items by EoD tomorrow (Nov 23) if possible.

Date: Please indicate your preference for the next meeting date, either Tuesday next week (November 30) or the following week (December 7).

Time: Many of us have had a Daylight Savings Time jump since our last meeting.  Please indicate your preference for regular meeting times.

1. 12:00 UTC  (keep previous UTC time)
2. 13:00 UTC  (keep local time for those who’ve jumped from DST in the Northern Hemisphere)
3. 14:00 UTC

Development Guidance: Version One Release Feature Set

One of the major goals of this project for the next quarter is to scale up participation from more NRENs.  (Our strategy for how to achieve this will be a major agenda item for the meeting.)

Ahead of the next meeting, please review the document linked below.  It’s a quick couple of pages describing, in brief, the set of remaining features we propose ought to be developed before we consider the product suitable for release to the general public as “Version One”.  (We will, of course, continue development after that.)

Please see if you notice any features missing that you feel should be included, or feel that any of the items in the list are not in fact required.  If you would like to see a list of the features already developed, let me know.

We’ll aim to achieve consensus on this list by the next meeting.  If you will not make the next meeting and have feedback, please either e-mail them to me or leave comments in the document.
