Agreed, good thing to discuss.
I thought it was interesting with it being an open project. Mehmet is a
well known person in the space - him leading it gives it some credence in
my book over if someone else was spearheading it.

I can see some real oddities here in the South Pacific as well like the
Moana cable being installed in 2018 (spoiler alert - it does not exist). It
does show as being down at least - so that's something...
It is very much an early beta so they may not have any validated data as of
yet.

Hi Wallace
My first take on this map, looking at the S Atlantic, is that the
divergence of this map's information content and that of Telegeography is
extremely great. Look for instance at the WASACE, SAEX and BRICS cables,
none of which has been built, to my knowledge, although SAEX was recently
relaunched as SAEx1, scheduled for 2021.

Anyone involved in this project? Commercial focused as you would expect -
