Dear all,
I have merged the definitions for the formerly defined sessions on Quantum Networks and OTFN. The problem is that, as we merged both sessions, now there are 6 proposals of talks (one confirmed) for 3 presentation slots (I crossed some proposals, but it would
be great if you could check):
-
Jörgen Ellegård (JK to check) Why Quantum computing
-
Peter Kaufman ( Maria I) QKD, Entanglement
-
Jani to check Cross border QCI (already confirmed by Jani)
-
TBD but should be ok (Jani). Presenter from both EE-FI-SE and DK led projects (Jani said he will contact)
-
NMI, (Lars Fisher responsible otherwise he does the talk) Why are we still talking about time and frequency
-
Raimena Results from the Nordic implementation
I can easily drop my proposal on Entanglement, but there are still 5 proposals for 3 slots. Jani, I suggest that, if you have not yet contacted the Danish project, we keep the NordicQCI one for Quantum. Then, we can keep Jörgen and Raimena, unless you want
to explore different options with Lars. This would leave two Quantum and one T&F presentations. Please, I need your help with this. The alternative is to make it a LT session with 6 presentations instead of 3 (quite challenging, right?). Do you have any other
suggestions, or should I go ahead with this as proposed?
The sustainability session is already updated too. It was much easier in this case.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Dear all,
I updated my Access session and I think it looks good.
I looked at the other sessions as well and I think we are almost there.
@vegard is this “ Reliance on cloud providers is almost 100%. Locked in worry. Providers reluctant to deliver on-prem systems. Perhaps NRENs have a role in developing and delivering services” is this final ?
Cheers,
Licia

Thank you, Jonny for the clarification.
If you have already developed some descriptions for talks, they form a great basis for your discussions with the speakers
on their talks. Some speakers are happy to accept an existing description, others would like to add their own flavours, which is perfectly fine as long as it of course is within the scope of the session.
It may also be that when you plan the order of the talks in your sessions you may find that one or more of the descriptions
could do with some slight changes to support the flow of the presentations.
Hi,
its the session title and the session description that’s needed now. So we can publish the programme and start announcing the conference.
The detailed description of each speaker etc can follow later. Hopefully it’s clear now.
I am a bit confused now. I understood that we have to write and improve, where needed the Session descriptions. not the detailed descriptions of all the presentations in the sessions.
Jonny, could you please clarify?
Hi all,
I have updated all the sessions for the EDU-track, except Kristina's session about "AI lead in Estonia on secondary schools"
