Agenda: 09:30-09:45 Introduction 09:45-11:00 Presentation from Sunet, NORDUnett, DeiC, Funet and Uninett. Work (related to the optical activities) done in 2019 and what we have in head of us in 2020 and 2021. Magnus, Lars_LB, Jan, Jani and Kurosh, 15 minutes each 11:00-11:30 TeraFlex test scenario and result, Jani 11:30-12:00 EISCAT 3D and the network scenarios, Lars_F 12:00-13:00 lunch break 13:00-13:30 Optical Line System procurement (OLS) project in Geant. The process, result and how the NREN could get benefit of it, Phil Matthews (GEANT) 13:30-14:00 OLS technical evaluation and the chosen solution, Guy Roberts (Geant) 14:00-14:30 Free discussion and Q&A on GEANT OLS procurement with Guy and Phil 14:30-14:45 Coffee break 14:45-15:30 Discussion on how to operate a borderless OLS network, Kurosh and all. I will try to introduce the issue and have some scenarios 15:30-15:45 wrapping-up the workshop
