Dear All,

I am Zhonghui Li, the service manager of TEIN NOC, who is responsible for TEIN backbone operations.

On behalf of TEIN NOC, I would like to express sincere thanks to AARNet for kind support on temporary R&E transit provisioning for TEIN-South (AS24490) and TEIN NREN & partner concerned, due to unreadiness of x-connect after TEIN SG PoP relocation on 20-21 Dec 2021, and, as Warrick mentioned, please kindly temporarily accept all prefixes advertised from AARNet to your R&E networks with AS path like “_7575 24490_” or “.*7575 24490.*”, so as to restore the connectivity between TEIN-South to global R&E netowrks..

We will keep you posted on the TEIN backbone restoration progress.

Thanks again for kind understanding and support from you!

Best Regards,

Zhonghui

Subject: [Routing-wg] Recent AARNet R&E Routing change

Hi All,

Please be advised due to a cross connect issue in Singapore, AARNet is announcing all of TEIN's routes to the global R&E networks for the next couple of weeks, to help TEIN and our international peers out. If you have filters on the AARNet sessions, please permit AS24490 and its down streams via AS7575. If you have any questions, please reach out to me or support@aarnet.edu.au and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Warrick Mitchell • Head of Network and Systems Architecture
