Dear Everyone,
Thank you for your interest and participation in the GREN Map WG meeting on 3rd March. Together with CANARIE, I've prepared the attached notes. If you have anything to add or wish to suggest some modifications, please let me know. For those not able to attend, the notes should give you a good view of the current situation.
Following the call, I have discussed with CANARIE on the position of co-chairs for the WG. Following CANARIE's withdrawal from its leading role in the WG, we have agreed that the group would benefit from some fresh leadership. As a consequence I also confirm that I will hand over my position of co-chair.
I have checked with representatives of the GNA-G Leadership team, and understand that there is no specific formal approach for WG chairs to be appointed, but that we should inform them of any changes when they are made. I therefore would ask those receiving this message to consider taking on the role of co-chair, and confirming to Mark (Mark.Wolff@canarie.camailto:Mark.Wolff@canarie.ca) and me by 28th March. Please also forward this message to anyone you consider may be interested in the role or participating in the group.
Best regards, Tom

Hello Everyone,
I am very pleased to say that Gustavo Araújo of RNP has submitted the attached proposal for the future work of the GREN Map WG, with the offer also for RNP to take on the chair role of the working group. We have not received any other proposals for the chair role, so I will now confirm to the GNA-G team the transfer of the chair role from CANARIE and GÉANT to RNP.
If anyone would like to provide support to RNP in a co-chair or other role, please reach out to Gustavo directly at gustavo.araujo@rnp.brmailto:gustavo.araujo@rnp.br.
Best regards, Tom
