Dear Everyone,
Thank you for your interest and participation in the GREN Map WG meeting on 3rd March.
Together with CANARIE, I've prepared the attached notes. If you have anything to add
or wish to suggest some modifications, please let me know. For those not able to attend,
the notes should give you a good view of the current situation.
Following the call, I have discussed with CANARIE on the position of co-chairs for the WG.
Following CANARIE's withdrawal from its leading role in the WG, we have agreed that
the group would benefit from some fresh leadership. As a consequence I also confirm that I
will hand over my position of co-chair.
I have checked with representatives of the GNA-G Leadership team, and understand that
there is no specific formal approach for WG chairs to be appointed, but that we should
inform them of any changes when they are made. I therefore would ask those receiving this
message to consider taking on the role of co-chair, and confirming to Mark
(Mark.Wolff@canarie.ca<mailto:Mark.Wolff@canarie.ca>) and me by 28th March. Please
also forward this message to anyone you consider may be interested in the role or
participating in the group.
Best regards,
Tom
