Dear all,
As you may remember, we agreed to use NDN26 to further discuss the preparation of the T&I strategy workshop.
We had representatives from all NRNEs but CSC (Juha joined the end of the meeting)
We discussed 4 main things, as described below.
1. Overview of the priority for each NREN
SUNET: Wallets with the aim to have a wallet in prod by next summer. Note that the focus is NOT on the wallet but on using the wallet to add PINs, RPs etc. Opened fed in prod supporting both edugain and the wallet. Sunet is supporting national infra, such as eidAS node, which is being migrated from SAML to OIDC. IDPHY - moving to a new stack. Looking at trust as assurance.
SIKT Feide is expanding. Working with evaluation is digital services used in the education to validate security and data handling. Funding coming from the government to support lower education and municipalities. Alternative to LDAPs used for uni cat. Wallets of course and refresh tokens. Life long learning. Student mobility.
DeiC easyID makes eIDAS possible (ie access for foreigners to DK public services). State has a public wallet for age validation but also does identity validation which is an alternative to the commercial one MitID free to use for users but paid for services. Redundancy of services. Lot of work on compliance. Looking at HSM as a service. Libraries ready to move to fed ID. SPs often bypass Deic and connect directly to the IdP. Risk for the long term.
2. Topics for the Workshop - we have identified the following topics
Wallet Trusted infra how does it look it Life long learning Student mobility and id Certifications with ISO Stakeholder engagement Sovereignty
3 Goal
Rethink value proposition /infosharing Go through the topics listed and explore potential collaboration. Overall strategy for each NREN and how to engage better and agree how to make this continue. Share info on activities and representations and standardisation. As How do we keep track of what happens. Facilitator from Sikt. Refeds future and TIIME.
4. DATES and Venue
We agreed to host the event in NDN new offices.
We have identified 3 possible weeks:
Week of the 9th Nov (the week before there is a SIG public affairs in NDN office) Week of the 23 Nov (there is a CAG meeting on the 24th which can be in NDN office too) - so maybe an option for those of us in the CAG too? First week of Dec
Can you please indicate if you see any clashes ? And for CSC colleagues, can you please see if these dates suit you?
We are aiming at max 4 people for NRENs.
Best, Licia

Hi
Unfortunately our reprenstation at Nordunet was lacking due to multiple reasons. But we are committed to Copenhagen.
From CSC the preferred dates would be the first week of December and the week of 23.11. as second option. The week of 9.11. is difficult for us.
