Hi Otto, I have tweaked a little on our ISIS links to/from our routers in ASIA. Hopefully it will help in future cases. traceroute interpretation dk-ore-fw

Hi, We are looking at error-detection in traceroutes. We have this traceroute from praha to copenhagen that many times a day ends i asterisks after hitting dk-ore-fw.nordu.net as the last hop. This router has fw in its name and might be some FireWall-thing ? Is it possible to understand this behaviour ? Can we persuade it to allow for more traceroutes ? The last three routers we see is these on the last hop before the copenhagen VM is enclosed. Proposal for collaboration project in the pipeline...

(coloumn 2 is seconds outage)) Traceroute visualization shows red nodes where the route has stopped. We see several nordunet routers in the list which indicates routing instability. The other way we also see routing turbulence even within uninett ( oslo-gw1 and dk-bal2 has lost amazon prefix).
