Hi
Projects like Perfsonar, Ripes atlas probes, NLNOG ring all tries to
solve network connectivity issues.
I didn't know of about Nlnog - seamingly an inter domain debug environment ?
I would be interested in seeing the traceroute visualization stuff.
We are also working to analyze traceroutes to find outage events like
network unreachables and loss of connection.
We had a student look at traceroute anomaly detection this summer..
We could have detected the loss of some prefixes on august 10 within a
minute or two and reported,
because we had an Amazon US node in our network.
Cheers
