Friendly reminder about the routing working group meeting tomorrow September 20th 8 am ET Agenda: * Routing Working Group Case update * Microdep Presentation by Otto Wittner Abstract : Microdep is a long running project (and a toolset) measuring the end-to-end availability of global connections on a fine grained level. Currently around 250 end-to-end connections are monitored by a combination of CBR probe traffic (100 packet per second)) and traceroute measurements. Monitor data are analysed for queuing, downtime and routing events (i.e. not only visualized). Correlations of events are also detected which may again assist in revealing suboptimal routing configurations. Microdep is now in a process to be integrated with the perfSONAR tool suit.
