Just before the weekend I want to give an update on some progress I have made and reach out for some help/advice/ideas.
The good news: both Kris Kapelle (Astronaut Trainer) and Jerome Meyer (DDoS researcher) have now confirmed that they will speak at the conference. So two action items off my list 😉
On the Network Architecture session side I’m still trying to get someone to speak about their AI DC design. My original idea was to get someone from NScale, but after some chats with colleagues we think Verda (GPU Instances and Serverless Inference — Verda (formerly DataCrunch)https://verda.com/) might be a better fit. They have a GPU as a Service model that would be interesting to know how they implement this. So that is work in progress.
I do have a bit of a struggle with the Digital Twin slots though. Is the Destination Earth (Destination Earthhttps://destination-earth.eu/) presentation going to be about the application or rather the underlying infrastructure? It’s interesting to know to avoid overlap with other speakers in that session. I was pointed to John Howard from Proton (https://youtu.be/-_qMVdsOq8g?si=Y_yfFRK9z-CdyRZ2), a company that is known for it’s use of automation and digital twins. I’m not 100% sure he’s the right guy and moreover he didn’t come back to me yet.
So if you or anybody has a clever suggestion I’m listening 😉 Maybe a Digital Twin for an Optical network would be interesting if we can find someone in that space?
And then a last question is about the DDoS panel. Who is going to contact a few good people to be on the panel? Of course Jerome will be on it as well, but the idea was to have the Nordic NRENs represented. I hope someone can help me with that. Obviously I can discuss the expectations with all panellists later.

Hi all, I have created a page with a speaker list that eventually will hold the complete overview of speakers and their registration status. I will go through the individual session pages and pick the names from there as per your input – however, it would be amazing if you could add the e-mail address of the speaker in the speaker list once confirmed.
When you have a speaker confirmed, drop me a note and I will share the relevant registration link that you can send to your speaker.
We will publish the programme early next week, so if you want to have an extra look at your session description, now is a good time. 😊
