[GNA-G All] APAN49 Cancelled (Was: GNA-G Agenda for APAN49)

Dear All: I just received the sad news that APAN49 has been cancelled, from Markus Buchhorn (General Manager, APAN). See below. This is truly unfortunate, but understandable given the current situation regarding Covid-19. This, of course, means that there will not be a GNA-G meeting on Wednesday, 4 March 2020. The next GNA-G meeting is scheduled to take place in Indianapolis, IN, USA on 2 April 2020, right after the Internet2 Global Summit. This will be a full day meeting. While there was always a hope the event could have gone ahead, perhaps in a reduced form, it has become clear that this is no longer possible. It is planned to reschedule an APAN meeting for Nepal in the reasonably near future. In the meantime there is still much work to be done in helping NREN with the economic and political fallout from this cancellation, and we hope that you will help us support them. We understand this will impact many travel plans, and hope you and your organisations understand the difficult situation we all face. More information will be shared when it becomes available.
